Located in the Vaughan-Oakwood (VO) neighborhood in Toronto, Ontario, the VO Youth Network is a Youth-led, volunteer-led community group working to strengthen our local youth community using an anti-oppression framework and youth-centered approach, focusing on supporting marginalized youth.
We are willing to do what it takes to make a difference, and grow our network. We engage youth in the community by amplifying voices, hosting events, sharing resources, and connecting the youth to opportunities. For a working class neighborhood that is as underserved as VO, we feel that youth voices matter.

The Vaughan-Oakwood Youth Network, working within Tkaronto (so-called Toronto), are on the traditional territories of many Indigenous nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnawbe, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples.
Indigenous nations have cared for this land for many generations before they were colonised by European settlers decades ago. As settlers, it is our responsibility to be aware of our place in the history of colonialism and to commit to protecting and caring for this land and all those that live upon it.
