Resources

Having trouble finding help? Below you will find a list of resources in VO and around the city that may help you or someone you know with whatever you may need - here you will mostly find mental health support, but links to organizations providing access/support for employment and recreational services can be found as well. If you haven't done so already, please look at our FYI page to see the many resources they provide the youth!

We are also compiling a list of resources for specific groups of youth (Indigenous, Black, Queer, etc.). This list is in progress, but you can still access it by clicking here!

The Vaughan-Oakwood Youth Network, working within Tkaronto (so-called Toronto), are on the traditional territories of many Indigenous nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnawbe, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples.

Indigenous nations have cared for this land for many generations before they were colonised by European settlers decades ago. As settlers, it is our responsibility to be aware of our place in the history of colonialism and to commit to protecting and caring for this land and all those that live upon it.
